From a distance, the river bed looked like a beach. What looked like sand we saw was dirt. As we moved towards water, the ground got softer. The mixture of fine dirt and water can be traps, need to be careful.

These are arecanut trees trunks. A plantation submerged in reservoir waters have become lifeless.
